Hello, my name is James Acaster, and in 2017, I had a breakdown.

And to deal with that breakdown I bought as much

music from the previous year 2016 as I possibly could as a result I now own over 600 albums that came out in

2016 I'm convinced it's the greatest year for music of all time but it's not enough for me to be

convinced I also want to convince each and every single one of you and a a guest every week. This week, my guest is Keema Bob, and the album I've chosen is Pix Faye by Picks Faye.

In my Tierra, in my Tierra, in my Tierra,

para up, with a path to up, with a path to up. Picks Bay are two bands combined. The music is by a math rock group called Kumar, and the lyrics and the percussion is by a group called Bambazu.

Or they were called it at the time. They changed their name since.

This is South Colombian music, traditional South Columbia music, South Pacific music, mixed with math rock.

So this is a completely new territory, really.

Traditional music on this album, even a lot of people from the region it's from aren't really familiar with it.

It's quite a lot of it has been forgotten.

So this is like a complete revival of a style of music that's been discarded,

mixed with quite a technical, loud genre of music in Maffrock, complete polar opposites to one another, and somehow it works and forms a completely

different genre that they call Colombian crunch music. Kimmer Bob, for those of you who don't know, is one of our brightest lights, a fantastic comic, so so funny.

Also, a phenomenal drag king.

She performs under the name Little Testes, and I recommend you check that out as well.
