Summary

13 year old, Kelly Ann Tinyes, walked down the street to her neighbor’s house in Valley Stream, New York. The young girl was never seen alive again. When police found her body, they could have never prepared themselves for what they were about to witness. The trial was filled with outbursts of emotion from the gallery, while the defendant kept his head down most of the time. A juror who sat on the trial shared insight with me, and also spoke about how the months-long trial affected her. This brutal murder would pit two families against each other ….for decades.
