I was doing really good stuff but not really getting credit for it and that's kind of been the whole story since freshman year.

So I'm just kind of building that determination and that fight just rolled into cross-country season.

And you know, as each race went on, I was like, man, I just still want to prove everyone that I'm still one of the top guys.

And no matter how rough the previous years have gone, I can still compete.

That played a huge role in my story in the big switch.

But yeah, it's been kind of nice just to continue to have that chip.

And like I said, I still do.

I don't think anything really changed after NXR or Footlogger South.

I had the privilege of meeting and spending some time with Keegan last week as he won

the Foot Locker Cross Country South Regional Championships, which qualified him for the

Foot Locker Cross Country National Championships,

which will take place on December 14th at Balboa Park, where Keegan will look to make history.

Kegan has a really, really fascinating backstory where he actually qualified for the meet

his freshman year and then had some setbacks, both sophomore and junior year.

And so this year was all the more sweet as he details and documents

in today's conversation. Kegan was also a stud back in the day in middle school. He was a 21-time

national champion, which he discusses at length in today's conversation. He also ran some

unbelievably remarkable fast times that make me feel utterly slow. He ran like 918, I think of the 3,200 or 2

mile in eighth grade, which is absolutely wild. Kegan is committed to run for the University of

Colorado Boulder this upcoming fall and is just a really, really good kid. He's not only one of
