So I've got to ask you,

because so many of us are so inspired watching you on television and seeing the convictions and the characters with which you carry yourself. Did you always have an interest in politics and in the

media, or was there a time when you felt this real calling to move into those places?

So it's a great question. I had this like natural love for politics from my very young age.

It may sound a little peculiar, but I was this like eight year old on the playground who was

doing cheers for Bob Dole during the 1996 election. I don't know, I don't know what it was,

but my like my heart just drew me to politics. And I look, I don't come from it was, but my, like, my heart just drew me to politics. And I,

look, I don't come from a political family, Kirk. Like, yes, they have viewpoints. They are

conservative. They talk about politics at the dinner table. But really, for me, it was writing

my dad's truck, hearing this guy named Rush Limbaugh, and just being really inspired and motivated.
