major breaking news. Katie Scheid and Germant-Grangee shock the trail running world by officially

signing with on Katie Scheid, of course, the reigning trail runner of the year, a Western

States and UTMB champion and Germant Grandeau, a UTMB and diagonal DeFu podium performer.

The two of them categorically at the top of the sport, now taking their talents back to on the Swiss performance juggernaut that is among the fastest growing brands in the world.

For those newer to the sport, you may not remember that Katie and Germant represented

On for about four years from 2018 to 2022, leaving because the trail running product wasn't

quite at the point where they were confident in the tools of the trade, something that

we talk about candidly here.

Fast forward a few years on has clearly made

significant strides not only in their product as they work towards the launch of the Cloud Ultra

Pro, the new trail running super shoe launching this summer at TrailCon, but also clearly they're

making huge strides as a company and now making much deeper investments in the trail category, the Katie and

Germon signing being major evidence of that commitment. This is for sure the biggest move of the

free agency season, something that took many people by surprise, myself included. So I'm grateful

they would come on the pod and talk all about it.
