Life is just a series of projects and that project mindset becomes not only like addicting in some ways, but actually fundamentally, it is the reason that I'm climbing.

Alex, I feel like so far this year we've talked about this multiple times, but 2025 is shaping up to be this

kind of like banner year for outdoor climbing.

It feels like in some ways it also is marking the extension of a younger generation, or

like that it's kind of complete.

Yeah, no, I totally agree.

I mean, so far in the first half of 2025,

we've had Brooke Rabbit to climb 15C,

the hardest grade for a woman so far.

We've had Hamish McCarthy climbing V-17

in a single session in a few hours.

It's so amazing.

free rider in a day. I mean, yeah, and then plenty of other incredible achievements from all kinds

of people. Can you remember any other year quite like this? I forget which year it was, but

like Adam flashing 15A first time. I mean, that was a few years ago. I was like, oh, that's crazy. To me, that felt like a real change. Because I remember when Chris, you know, climbed microbiography is the first 515 in the world. And then, you know, it's not that much longer. Somebody flashes 515 for the first time. And you're like, wow, standards have really changed. I feel like it must be incredible to be a part of what's happening at the moment.
