Let us begin, first topic, the primary results from Tuesday.

It was quite a week.

So I'm going to start with you, Bill Galston.

We had some good news from Tuesday.

Let's hold off on the implications of Kansas's vote, but just speaking about the

candidates rather than issues. So we had some good news. Eric Greitens was soundly defeated, but I think that may have exhausted the good news.

What do you think were the big takeaways?

The big takeaway is that Donald Trump is still there and he may have lost a little weight but now he's still the 700 pound gorilla in the bar.

And a lot of candidates that he backed did very well, actually won.

Perhaps the most notable was the result of the Arizona Republican gubernatorial primary, where the Trump-backed

candidate who has no particular political experience and was largely unknown before he clamped onto her

actually seems to have pulled out a narrow victory and that in combination with
