guest is Ted Nordhaus, founder and executive director of the Breakthrough

Institute and author of an eco-modernist manifesto.

We're gonna begin with a discussion

about the Inflation Reduction Act,

specifically the climate aspects of that legislation, and the question of nuclear power.

Ted Nord House, I have been wanting to get you on for a long time because I have the sense that a lot of our

discussions about environmental matters about the climate are missing an important piece and I think that's the piece that is filled by the Breakthrough Institute work.

So I'd like to begin with you and ask you to discuss the pros and cons of this bill.

It's called the Inflation Reduction Act, but a lot of it deals with climate.

And so I'd like to ask for your view. I've heard it described as an eco-modernist bill, which would mean it should get your stamp of approval

but let's hear what you have to say about it.
