I want to talk about this continuing resolution that is being pushed by the Speaker of the House,

Mike Johnson.

And I'll begin with a post from a few hours ago by Rand Paul.

I had hoped to see Speaker Johnson grow a spine.

That alone is an interesting opening line, isn't it?

Grow a spine, i.e. he doesn't have one.

But this bill full of pork shows he is a weak, weak man.

And then, Rand Paul goes on to say that in the Senate, I'm going to block him.

I'm going to block this.

I'm going to delay it.

I'm going to basically do what I can to stop it.

And this indeed is good news because this resolution is bad and it deserves to be stopped.

Now, if it is bad and it deserves to be stopped, why would Mike Johnson be pushing it?
