Here we are, all ready to go with a Thursday afternoon edition of TBTL, it's the show

that's probably too beautiful to live. I'm your host, Luke Burbank, weighing in at 178

pounds. I don't know, but I'm sure it's somehow related to my ability to stay

just below the 180 pound mark. This is episode 571 in a collector series and we've

got quite a show in store for you today. We've been following the MIA versus the

New York Times story and there have been big big time developments. The New York

Times has printed a retraction about part of the story and one of our

tens of listeners has been doing some serious journalistic sleuthing.

record with references to the truffle fries. We'll talk about that in just a

little bit also. A blown call. Erases a perfect game last night in Detroit. I will

tell you about the soap opera that has erupted in the aftermath of that

complete with folks on all sides of the issue sobbing openly and room

a clan of hand has passed away leaving only Betty White as the surviving

Golden Girls which if you think about it considering they were playing retirees

in like 1982 not a not a terrible accomplishment that most of them made it

into the last two or three years but we'll talk about the passing of room of
