Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic

study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book.

How big is your faith? Is it small faith or large faith? On our last searchlight program, we began to

consider the faith of Abraham, and we saw that Abraham had jumbo-sized faith, and it is a faith

that we can all have. In looking at Abraham's faith, there are several things that we can learn about faith and apply to our lives.

The first thing that we learned was not to look at our own limitations when God makes a promise to us.

Let's now join Pastor John for our teaching as we continue to consider jumbo-sized faith.

We are told by Paul the Apostle, that number one, he did not look at his limitations.

That's the first key to faith.

Do not look at limitations, but rather, number two, keep high your expectations.

Abraham did not consider the deadness of his body or the deadness of Sarah's womb.

And verse 20, he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief.

He did not look at his limitations.
