Welcome back to TBTL Hour Number 2, this Wednesday night session, it's episode 143 in

a collector's series. I'm Luke Burbank. As we mentioned last week, a sort of tradition,

I guess, Sunday afternoon tradition, you know, Sunday afternoon is always very kind of depressing

because you can just feel Monday come in, you can feel the odds of Monday collecting

somewhere across the horizon about to come barreling towards you, but there was one thing,

one thing that could make a Sunday afternoon feel a little less terrible, and that was

some quality time with Cisco and Ebert sitting there in that darkened movie theater talking

in a very sort of, I would say, unanimated tones about movies in kind of a smart way.

I always love that as a kid, and even as an adult, very sad to find that that has come

to a complete end. You know, Cisco died, that can't be helped. And they put Roper in there,

Ebert and Roper, that was pretty good. But then Ebert's been sick, Roper doesn't want

to do the show anymore. They've sort of canceled it. Gawker said, maybe they'll start calling

the show ampersand, because everyone who was on either side of the ampersand is now gone.

Ampersand apparently turned them down. Really Disney was not offering any money for this gig.

So now we find that the roles are going to be filled by some guy named Ben Lions, and

the kid named, is it Josh Mankowitz? No, it's Ben. Ben Mankowitz, it's going to be Ben

and Ben. How clever. Ben Mankowitz is son of Josh Mankowitz, who's I think a correspondent

for ABC News or something. And Ben Lions son of Jeffrey Lions, the NBC film critic.

So they basically took two kind of young guys and plug them in there. And Mankowitz isn't

that young. He's like 40, I think. Oh, are you sure? Because Josh is Ben Mankowitz, right?

Uh-huh. Well, what about Josh Mankowitz? Is that who you're thinking of? No. I think
