Lady Danbury, one of my favorite characters. She's my favorite character. Right.

Okay. Thank you. Because I, and first of all, the actress who plays her as well,

amazing. We see her in Bridgeton. So that's a character you created that now, you know,

Shonda kicked forward and then broadened. What was that experience? And tell us a little bit more

about your relationship to Lady Danbury.

So Lady Danbury actually predates the Bridgetons in my novel.

She appeared in a novel called Hadamary Marquis, which actually was the last novel I wrote

before the Bridgeton series.

And she is the great aunt or aunt of the hero.

And she's a pretty big character.

And in the book, she's a little bit older and a little bit,

I don't want to say feeble, but I mean, she's not feeble,

but she's got a cane.

And I mean, she needs that cane more than Lady Danbury on the show needs the cane.

And she's probably a good 20 years older.

And she just says whatever the heck she wants, which is why she's so fun to write because

she just doesn't care.

She's reached an age where she just has no more anything's left to give.
