0:09.6	chapter 1 verse 14 and we're going to be going verse by verse through the scriptures.
0:15.4	One of the things we'll cover today is how believers get judged when we stand before
0:19.8	God. So 1st Peter, Chapter 1,

0:45.4	by God. There's an interesting topic, but we'll be getting into that in 1st Peter. And so here we are, 1st Peter 114, as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the
0:58.8	former lusts as in your ignorance, but as he who called you as holy,
1:03.3	you also be holy in all your conduct because it is written,
1:07.4	be holy for I am holy.
1:10.5	There's two reasons why we would be told not to conform ourselves to our former
1:16.4	lests. The first reason is because you can. And it's interesting that as Christians,
1:24.2	we get saved, and then God begins this wonderful work
