about some really important issues. One of the popular attacks on Christians

is that we have quote blind faith or faith without any

evidence or reason and I'm excited to show you biblically that this is not true.

I'm also going to give you some tips on keys on how to understand

prophecy in the Bible and so much more as we just continue digging into the

gold mine of God's word in our verse by verse study of first Peter.

Okay, so if you guys that open your Bibles up to 1st Peter chapter 1, we're going to be digging in.

But we're going to start by just reading what we've gone through already because that's going to set up our minds and our hearts for what comes next.

So 1st Peter, chapter 1, and it says here in verse 1, Peter, an Apostle of Jesus Christ, to the pilgrims

of the dispersion in Pontus Galatia, Capidocia, Asia, and Bethania.

Elect, according to the foreknowledge of God, the Father,

in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling

of the blood of Jesus Christ.

Grace to you and peace be multiplied.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ

who according to his abundant mercy has begotten

us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance

incorruptible and undefiled that does not fade away reserved in heaven

for you who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved
