Today we are talking about the SEC settlement

with Elon Musk and Tesla, as well as a new bill proposed

in the Senate for the US-EV federal tax credit.

Tesla stock on the day on Tuesday with a strong performance

finishing up six and a half percent to $ 276.59

this compared to the NASDAQ up 2.89.00.00.

So a really good day for the markets overall, and Tesla was a happy and healthy participant in that rise.

One of the tailwinds that likely helped Tesla today is that U.S. District Judge

Allison Nathan has approved the settlement agreement between the SEC and

Elon Musk and Tesla. Prior to Elon Musk's tweets about the quote-unquote

short-seller enrichment committee on October 4th, Tesla was trading in the

$280 range which had fallen pretty quickly from the above 300 range that it had popped

to after the settlement agreement was announced.

So the 276 share price today is close to back to where it had been at that time.

I think that tweet puts some doubt into the minds of investors on whether or not this settlement

would actually go forward and be approved.

Now that it is approved, I think that helps reduce risk for Tesla,

which I think has really been draining and pulling on Tesla's share price.

Hopefully, the financials that Tesla reports in the Q3 earnings report serves as one further step
