Verse 12, these are spots in your love feasts while they feast with you without fear,

serving only themselves.

So that word spots is actually more like stains.

That spot in the Lady Macbeth sense.

They're stains on your love feast, right?

When you're getting together to celebrate the Eucharist, right?

They're there and feasting.

They're there celebrating, receiving like everybody else without a care in the world.

Right.

And the fact that you're just accepting them and letting this go on, right, that's a stain on what you're doing.

It's dragging down what you're doing.

There are clouds without water carried about by the winds.

So what's a cloud without water?

Pretty useless, right?

throws up some shade, but not even shade that keeps you from getting sunburned, right?

Late autumn trees without fruit. Right? We're past the harvest. No fruit. Useless.

Twice dead. Pull pulled up by the roots

raging waves of the sea

foaming up their own shame

wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever
