There are two programs that I have said I wanted to host for years and years.

One of them was a Stephen King book club

and one of them was a class on journaling for adults.

Now in the summer of 2021 I launched Stephen King Summer, which is a book club where we read Stephen King.

And now here in the beginning of 2023, I am finally launching a class that I've been pretty passionate about for a long time.

It's called Journaling for Grownups.

This class came out of a few things.

One, because I'm very passionate about journaling

and I talk about that a lot,

how I really think that it can be transformative

and healing.

And two, because. transformative and because whenever I talked about journaling here on the show or on social media

anywhere, I always got the reaction from people that made it very clear to me that there were a lot of misconceptions around

Journaling mainly the fact that it takes a certain personality type like you have to be an

introspective sensitive person to journal or you have to journal daily or at least regularly to be considered a journaler or that maybe there was something about journaling that was adolescent, like it was something for

teenage angsy girls,

not something that everybody can benefit from.

So I would always get these sort of subtle questions and

messages from people who wanted to know more about my journaling. They were

journal curious if you will, but they just didn't know where to start and it was really hard to get past their preconceived notions of what having a journal and what having a journaling practice really looks like.
