at my head. I'm Fern Cotton and today we're talking to artist and Britain's most celebrated

portrait artist Jonathan Yeau. When someone looks at you, it actually slows down your cognitive

processes. You're actually less able to think about other things. And you can see how that

must have happened in an evolutionary way because if you're out in the sort of savannas or

the colour like in the wilds or potentially hostile world then someone suddenly being

aware of your presence meant you had to make a decision whether it was okay to stick around

or do a run-out. Even if the last time you held a paintbrush was in school, do not fret.
