in Creepitude as always is the amazing Sonia Mansfield. Hey, Sonia. Hello, my friend. We are the

podcast that talks about creeps from the past to the present.

Now, today this person we're talking about, he is not a creep, but we are talking about

his body of work, which has some creepiness attached to it.

He's long been passed away.

I'm not stomping on somebody's grave here. I mean,

this is just stuff that people talked about before. But it's a huge part, we're Gen Xers. It's a

huge part of our childhood and our raising are the movies of John Hughes. And so there were

lessons that we took from it at the time and then we're going back to it as grown people and say, huh, probably not the best message to send out to the world.

Yeah, this is very similar to an episode where we did like movie character creeps before.

Exactly.

It's like these things that you, when you were younger, were like, that's fine.

That's perfectly normal. And then you go back and you watch and, were like, that's fine, that's perfectly normal.

And then you go back and you watch and you're like, oh, well, like, and he has a lot of those things in his movies and they're very formative for, for Gen Xers.

And it's definitely we're talking about.

Because they probably just grew up watching it as well. It's the

Ziers that are just like, what is this shit? Anyway. And the Gen Xers are showing these movies to their
