All right, sir, how are you doing today? Welcome to the show. Doing good. Good to talk to you again.

0:10.7

Yeah, likewise. Likewise. It's really good to have you on the show and I'm excited to just sort of dive in.

0:16.3

The world's changed a lot since you wrote your book, since you wrote men are from Mars,

0:21.8

women are from Venus. And I'm curious if we can just start off a little bit with contextualizing

0:26.3

how you think relationships are different from when you wrote that initially.

0:31.6

Well, I think that many women are still biologically wired to be very, very different.

0:37.2

And when we understand those differences,

0:39.1

we can then use that insight to deal with the new challenges that couples have since I wrote

0:44.9

men and from ours, women are from penis. The world has changed dramatically in that on a very

0:50.2

practical level, our stress levels have dramatically increased. Therefore, we can look at how

0:55.3

many women relate to stress differently on a biological level and then our communication skills

1:01.4

to help each other cope better with stress. That stress on another level, which one of the

1:08.7

things is causing the stress, one of the things, is when

1:12.3

women are more on their independent side, they make higher levels of stress than when

1:18.8

there's a balance of independence and dependence.

1:22.2

And what men are more on their dependent side, which I call feminine side,

1:29.9

then their stress levels will be higher as well.

1:35.8

And that's borne out with research showing that when men make a lot of estrogen and low testosterone,

1:38.3

their stress levels were higher, vice versa.

1:43.8

When women make testosterone to much greater degree than estrogen or progesterone,

1:45.6

their stress levels will be higher.

1:51.8

So how would you say that, and then I agree entirely. I've had a couple of people on the show that have talked about the decline in testosterone in men and how that can radically impact our
