It's week 41 in John's Gospel,

and in every generation there is a leader that God sort of rises up to be the senior leader for all of God's people.

And in John's day, it was John.

I would say in our day, it was Dr Billy Graham, who's having a really good day he's with Jesus and his wife

right now so it's a really good day for him share a little story with you it was

many years ago I was a college student I was a brand new Christian and I was working at a Marriott

hotel and I was paying my way through school and just carrying bags, driving a shuttle van back

and forth to the airport. And I don't know what day it was it was just

regular shift and I look over in the restaurant as I'm walking by and there's an older

guy there wearing a Minnesota Twins ball cap he had big Coke bottle type glasses on and he's reading for you young

kids something called a newspaper you can Google it later but he was reading

this and I thought man that that guy looks familiar I thought that guy looks like Billy Graham.

But there was no security detail,

there was no entourage,

it was just an old guy having breakfast.

I thought, well, I'm gonna go find out.
