This is actually sermon number 40 in John's Gospel.

And all the experts will say that series should be four to six weeks.

We believe 40 to 60 weeks is better and that and that your attention span is only 22 minutes

and this is going to be at least an hour. Here's why. I believe that something

happens when we open the word of God that is different than when we turn on

Netflix. I believe that God wants you to learn his word. I believe that the Holy Spirit shows up to

help you learn his word. I believe that God gives you supernatural ability to

focus and to also observe what the scriptures have to say.

And so when we open the word of God,

we're going to receive revelation from God,

a word from God.

We're going to get God's perspective on ourselves

and on life and on all things.

And so as we're in John chapter 18 today,

we are in the last minutes hours of the life of Jesus Christ.

And everything slows down.

And it's going to take us a few weeks

to walk through the final moments of Jesus' life

because every single moment leading up to Jesus' death on the cross is one of the most significant
