Hey, fam, welcome to the free trail podcast. Of course, I'm your loving host, Dylan Bowen, here today with Joe and Day DeLeon, an up-and-coming pro-trail runner from Crestabuque, Colorado. We discovered Joan at the

CERC Series A Basin race last September, where he finished second place behind Patrick Kipnano in

a very competitive field. We did an interview with Joanne after the race where the free trail team

and the extended free trail community fell in love with Joanne, his personality and his story.

During that interview, an idea was born to crowdfund Joanne's participation at back-to-back

Golden Trail World Series events on the following two weekends, which we

made happen. It was the start of a great friendship in addition to being great memories and

a great story. Today, Joanne joins the show for a real long-form chat about his background,

his goals for the future, and a very exciting new

partnership with Satisfi, which we use this episode to announce in some ways. One thing that has

come up on the podcast recently, both in the Seth Ruling episode and again here today, is just the

gift of simply being given an opportunity.
