My husband and I both grew up Christians and in Christian evangelical spaces.

And so I knew this mattered to God.

I knew about the verses, love your neighbors yourselves.

But I think there was this little part of me that felt like maybe not at least outwardly hating my neighbors was good enough.

Like if I'm not being hateful to my neighbors, does that count as love?

Compassion International is a ministry I dearly love.
