| 0:00.0 | Hi, and welcome to Jesus Over Everything, a short practical podcast that mixes encouragement, |
| 0:06.2 | the Bible, how-toes, and fantastic interviews for the listener on the go. I'm Lisa Whittle, |
| 0:11.7 | and I welcome you to just a few minutes with me, which I trust and pray will be time well spent. |
| 0:16.6 | Let me ask you a question. What comes to mind when I say the word service? Is it mopping floors, |

| 1:28.3 | even ever so subtly. But the Bible makes it clear what our stance as believers needs to be. |
| 1:35.3 | Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. |
| 1:41.5 | Love your neighbor as yourself, Mark 12, 30, and 31. We love ourselves a lot. |
| 1:48.5 | Even when we say, I don't like myself, that's still a focus on ourself. And if you boil it down, |
| 1:54.4 | doing what we want when we want and choosing what we want says different than I don't really |
