I love my interview today for so many reasons. First, it's because it's with an in-real-life

friend, as in my actual neighbor. Angela Braniff, better known to her half a million YouTube

subscribers as This Gathered Nest, mother of eight, wife of her longtime love from way back in

school, and new author of book, Love Without Borders. But also because

Angela did this interview in person at my house, we had fun and we also talked about something she

and I both find so important, marginalized kids. Angela and her husband have personally adopted

six of them through some unconventional ways. And I know

you're going to be as inspired as I am by not just pieces of her story, but by who she is at the

core. I love this woman, and I love that she's on Joe.

Well, I feel like this isn't really an interview. Is this really an interview? Do friend conversations

even count for interviews, Angela? I don't think so. So here's the thing. The Joe podcast is really

kind of responsible for this interview. Because this is where our friendship started,

right? Yes. I've, I mean, I've been a long time listener of this podcast and a long time

obsessed with you. And I didn't want to tell you that because I want to freak you out.

And then you moved to like one street over from me and I'm like, it's Kismet. It's meant to be.

It really is. I mean,

listen, it's so, so fun to like, well, one, it's fun to be able to do this in person.

Yeah. Because I don't do many interviews in person, but it's not that often that I have a friend

and someone I'm going to interview that lives very close. Like, how far are you?
