So in 1st Corinthians chapter 6 verse 19, it says this, do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God?

You are not your own. You are bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies. Now, the church in Corinth were kind of crazy. If you imagine the worst of all the biggest crazy environments you've ever, that have got a reputation. So I always think when I think of Corinth, I think of Vegas and

LA and Sydney and London, all cities I love, by the way, all thrown together, having a party.

Then I imagine pouring gas on it

and then setting fire to it. That's Corinth. And that's the kind of world they were dealing with.

So these were people who loved Jesus passionately when they met him, but they loved a lot of things

passionately. And although God had transformed their life, there was a shaking, a transitioning, a refining,
