My guest today, Candy Gallity, is someone I had never met before I interviewed her, and that show airs tomorrow,

so you'll want to make sure and come back for that. I quickly realized what made her such a team

player with her husband as the pastor of Long Hollow outside of Nashville, and their ministry

called Replicate, and in co-authoring a book on discipleship, as this is both of their great loves

and passions, but also a strong force in her

own right as an influencer with women in helping cultivate a passion in them for God's

word. My kind of woman, by the way. She's a wife and mom, speaker and discipleer, and I'm delighted

to welcome her to the mic today on the Jesus Over Everything show.

So, discipleship is a lifestyle,

and I'm often asked about this topic,

and many people think that discipleship

is something you can just kind of turn on and off,

but biblical discipleship is truly a way of life.

And so we look to Jesus as our model for that.

And our lives should mirror his life.

And we want to follow in his footsteps.

So if we look at his life, especially in the Gospels, there are a few things that emerge that we see.

We're going to look at John 18, 1 through 2.

That is a passage of scripture that really showed me that Christ had a rhythm to his life. And so those verses say,
