This is the best of Sports Spectrum, 2003. All week, we've been looking back

at some of our favorite episodes here on the Sports Spectrum podcast. We've had a lot of fun

looking back at the world of softball with Patty Gasso, the world of the NFL with Kirk Cousins

and Brock Purdy, and of course the world of boxing with George Foreman. Today we're going

to the NBA and we talked to Boston Celtics head coach Joe Missoula back in October, early October

here on the show and he had quite the season previously right like he was an assistant coach

with Boston all of a sudden he was thrust it into the head coaching job. And when I found out that I was going to have the opportunity

to talk to him and have him on our podcast, I really was excited not just to talk to him about basketball.

That's always fun or even coaching, but to talk about leadership, to talk about humility, and to talk about

his faith in Jesus. How did that come about? How does he live out his faith as a coach in the

NBA? So this was a lot of fun talking to Joe Missoula, Boston Celtics head coach. I've been a Celtics

fan since 1980, a long time.

And so it was an honor to talk to the Celtics lead man, Joe Missoula.
