1:29.4	So Jill's story is one where the influence of other people becomes a big reason of why she's
1:34.1	involved in the mixed messaging early on. And it's also an interesting story when it comes to the
1:39.6	in-laws in this story and their influence on her abusive husband and the passing down of a lot of patriarchal
1:46.6	values as being quote unquote a normal as I guess the best way to put it so with that now all being
1:54.3	said I'm going to get out of my way and your way Jill the floor is now yours. Okay, yeah. So my childhood, I was born in the 70s. My parents
2:07.7	were high school sweethearts. They graduated high school and moved in together, and they both came
2:12.9	from, you know, 50s households with alcoholism. And so they did their best. They were, of course,
2:19.6	a hot mess, as 18-year-olds will be when they get married, you know. But they loved us,
2:26.2	and they cried their best. And some wacky things happened. And I wouldn't say it was great, but I felt like I could kind of cling to my sanity.
2:39.8	My favorite show was Sesame Street and so I remember just thinking like these grownups
2:45.7	aren't acting the way that they are acting on Sesame Street. So like I already kind of knew it as
