0:15.0	Do you find it's emotionally exhausting to live in a world with so much evil in it?
0:22.0	I mean, you just can't escape it, can you? with so much evil in it?
0:22.7	I mean, you just can't escape it, can you?
0:24.7	As much as you and I try, we just can't escape
0:28.0	the evil, the horrible stories,
0:30.4	the heartbreaking situations that we find ourselves surrounded by or
0:34.8	hearing on the news. Now all of us struggle with it but some of us really struggle
0:40.0	with it because we're just not created to withstand the bombardment of sad stories of
0:47.1	evil situations that we're confronted with on a daily basis.
0:52.1	Now if we were going to start making a list of the heartbreaking stories,
0:56.1	if we were going to make a list of all the evil that we see in our world,
0:59.9	it would be endless.
1:01.2	I mean, here are just some high profile examples.
1:04.4	Sandy Hook Elementary School, 20 children, and six staff shot and killed.
1:10.0	That happened in 2012.
1:12.0	In 2015, at Emmanuel African Methodist Church, nine people shot in a
1:18.0	Bible study killed by a white supremacist. Add to that child abuse racial injustice rape murder it just goes on and on
1:27.6	evil is prevalent in our world and in the face of all that bad news, in the face of the evil that we are constantly
1:36.1	confronted with, let me tell you some good news.
1:39.6	Jesus came to defeat evil. 1st John3. 8 says it really clearly.
