I'm Pastor Mike Winger and this is Bible Thinker the program dedicated to thinking

biblically about everything.

Our focus for today is answering in this passage answering the question how do we take commands of Jesus to the 12 and apply it into our lives and I think this can be a little tricky because as he says stuff to the 12 disciples and you're like,

is that for me or is that for them or in what way does it apply to me?

And so I'm going to take kind of like a case in point.

This passage gives us like a great spot to analyze that

and answer that question a bit.

Jesus here he sends out the 12 two by two.

And I want to know when he sends them out saying,

and giving instructions to them, how do I apply it to myself what

kind of qualifications do I have to understand it to apply it well but not to abuse it abuse

the scripture here misunderstand it their calling all, is in some ways different than the generic

calling of all believers. And so we'll talk about a little bit of that. We're also going to

get into some apologetic stuff and all that why because this is the Mark series part

19 now I believe we're in 19 and what we do is we do verse by verse teaching through

the gospel of Mark just doing like an actual Bible study we're studying the text of scripture to draw from it the

truths that God has placed there for us. We're not trying, I'm not trying, it's not like I come with here's my agenda. Let me find a passage that will help me get that across, but rather let's look at the

passage and see what we can learn from it. That's the different angle we're taking. And if you're
