Hello my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset. If you're new to the

morning mindset, welcome especially to you. I'm thankful that you're here. We have

been walking through the scriptures in preparation for Christmas. It's called

the Advent season and it's the time when we're anticipating we are expecting

something as we look forward to the celebration of Jesus' birth here on

Planet Earth. We are looking today at 2 Corinthians chapter 4 verses 3 through

6 and we'll be talking about the reality of Jesus Christ being Lord. But before

we get there I want to invite you. If you would like to tell me something of your

story, how you came to faith, how you found the morning mindset, how the

morning mindset has impacted your life. I would love to hear your story. I have

Here is how it reads. It says, even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those

who are perishing. In their case the God of this world has blinded the minds of

unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of

Christ, who is the image of God. For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but

Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. For God

who said, let light shine out of darkness, has shown in our hearts to give the

light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Now this

may seem like a strange passage to be using as we're looking forward to

Christmas. Doesn't say anything about a baby or shepherds or wise men or anything
