You know her from the Silver Screen, but today you'll find her working around the clock as an entrepreneur.

She's the co-founder of the Honest Company and is on a very personal mission.

It all started after she had an allergic

reaction to baby detergent. That story, plus, as she builds the multimillion dollar company,

she is also very focused on another goal. So how important is it to you to get more women on

this board? It's incredibly important. It's everything. So I leaned on women in business

that I would need and I like over leveraged probably or leaned on them a little bit more than

they probably wanted me to. We also dive in to why she says growing up was brutal. Her parents

worked three jobs and barely made ends meet.

Jessica Alba, thank you for being here. Thanks for having me. We're going to get into a lot,

your career as an actor, the honest company, your personal journey.

But just first, this to begin, how do you define yourself today? Because you are so many

things. Mom, entrepreneur, actor. I don't know. I guess as a hyphen. I like that. I've authored a book.

I've started a company.

I have kids.

I'm a friend.

I'm a terrible speller.

I love to cook.
