Welcome back to the Tiny Theologians podcast. We've been walking through the big story of the Bible one day at a time, and I gotta say, it's getting really exciting.

It really is. We've seen how God created everything good, how sin entered the world through the fall, and how God began

his rescue plan through Noah.

A man named Abraham.

Today we're reading about how God made a really big promise to Abraham.

It starts in Genesis 12.

Abraham didn't even know where he was going, but God told him to trust, and Abraham listened.

That's pretty brave.

Let's read Genesis 12, 1 through 3.

The Lord had said to Abram, go from your country, your people and your father's household,

to the land I will show you. I will make you

into a great nation. And I will bless you. I will make your name great. And you will be a blessing.

I will bless those who bless you. And all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.

Whoa. All peoples? That's a lot of people. Yep. That promise wasn't just about Abraham's big family. It was about Jesus.

Wait, Jesus was in Abraham's family? That's right. Jesus is the promised son of Abraham. God was saying,

One day, someone will come from your family who will bless the whole world.
