All December long, we're going through the Jesse tree for Advent, following the big story of the Bible, one day at a time, and seeing how every part points us to Jesus.

Yesterday we started with creation. God made everything, and it was very good.

That's right. And today is Day 2.

And we're learning about the fall.

A very sad moment when sin first entered God's perfect world.

Oh no.

That sounds serious.

It is serious, TJ, but it's also the beginning of slang amazing, God's rescue pan.

So friends, go ahead and grab your day two Jesse tree card and your

apple ornament. When you got them, they got them. Got it? Okay. Let's read some of these verses

from today's card, from the Bible. We're going to be reading Genesis 3, 1 through 6. Tiny

theologians, just make sure you and your family, open your own Bibles, and read all the verses from today's card.

They're amazing.

We're just going to read a few of them now, but you'll want to read the whole story later so you don't miss anything incredible.

All right, we're in Genesis 3.

This chapter tells us the true story of how Adam and Ead disobeyed God.

They believed the lie of the serpent and chose their own way instead of God's way.

Listen to what the Bible says Adam and Eve did, even though God had commanded them not to eat

the fruit of that particular tree.

When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye,

and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took someone ate it.
