Hi there. This is Mary Demuth and this is pray every day where I pray you through the Bible verse by

verse. Happy to have you here on this 14th day of December. We're getting so close, aren't we, to Christmas

and really happy about that and just spending time with my family and all of that. Hopefully you are

looking forward to that as well, but I know that there are people that are

struggling with that. So I hope you don't mind if I pray for you now. Lord Jesus, I lift up those

people who are maybe scared and stressed to see their family. I pray, Lord, that you would bring

companionship there and a surprising pathway forward, especially about politics and things like that that can divide a family.

I also pray for those who are in mourning today because they're having their first holiday season,

Christmas season without a loved one who's passed on. And so, Lord, carry them,

grieve alongside them, bring them fellow grievers to help them walk through their grief

and be very, very near. I pray this in Jesus' name. Amen. Okay, today we're in Jeremiah chapter 31

1:01.9

verses 1 through 20 in the World English Bible and this is what it says. At that time, says Yahweh,

I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they will be my people.

Yahweh says, the people who survived the sword found favor in the wilderness, even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.

Yahweh appeared to of old to me saying,

Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love.

Therefore, I have drawn you with loving kindness.

I will build you again and you will be built, O Virgin of Israel.

You will again be adorned with your tambourines and will go out in the dances of those who make Mary.

Again, you will plant vineyards on the mountains of Samaria. The planters

will plant and enjoy its fruit. For there will be a day that the watchmen on the hills of Ephraim
