Hello there. This is Mary Demuth and this is Pray Every Day where I have the joy and privilege of praying you through the Bible verse by verse. I want to again pray for those who are struggling this time of year. So Lord Jesus, for those who are struggling health-wise because it's flu season, I pray a lifting of their symptoms. For those who are hurting because family members are estranged,

I pray that you would be the father who would never leave them

and carry them through that pain.

For those who are mourning the loss of others,

I pray that you would carry the weight of that grief as well.

Any anxiety that comes or perhaps a lack of provision, I pray that you would provide for them

in powerful and surprising ways. I pray you'd bring friends their way and joy and carolers to their

house, whatever it is to bring joy to my friend today. I pray that you would do it. In Jesus' name,

I pray. Amen. Okay, today we're going to finish up Jeremiah

chapter 31 versus 21 through 40 in the world English Bible, and this is what it says.

Set up road signs, make guideposts, set your heart toward the highway, even the way by which

you went. Turn again, Virgin of Israel. Turn again to these,

your cities. How long will you go here and there, you backsliding daughter, for Yahweh has

created a new thing in the earth. A woman will encompass a man. Yahweh of armies, the God of Israel,

says, yet again, they will use this speech in the land

of Judah and in its cities when I reverse their captivity.

Yahweh bless you, habitation of righteousness, mountain of holiness.

Judah and all its cities will dwell therein together the farmers and those who go about with

flocks, for I have satiated the weary soul

and i have replenished every sorrowful soul on this i awakened and saw my sleep was sweet to me behold the days
