Hey everyone, this is Mary DeMuth and this is Pray Every Day where I pray you through the Bible verse by verse.

So happy to have you here on the 22nd day of October.

I hope it's a day where you're experiencing the presence of God, but I just want to pray for someone today who feels like God is distant.

So Lord Jesus, I pray for my friend who feels like you're super far away and I pray that this week you

would break through the mundane or the stress or the worries of their lives and show them

that you are so very real, you're so very connected and so very concerned and so very loving

toward my friend who's feeling distant.

I pray if there's anything between the two that you would show them and, Father,

that you would send emissaries of hope, people who truly love them and represent you to

them.

Be the lifter of their head.

I pray a lifter of their mind, lifter of their mood.

I pray that any discouragement would just kind of dissipate at the hearing of their head. I pray in a lifter of their mind, lifter of their mood. I pray that any

but through the power of the Holy Spirit. I pray this in Jesus' beautiful name. Amen. All right,

we're jumping to the Old Testament today, and we're in the Weeping Prophet, Jeremiah, Chapter
