| 0:16.6 | And so if you are feeling like the world is overwhelming to you that people don't want to hear the truth. |

| 0:28.5 | And he is a good example of how to withstand that kind of persecution and pain. |

| 0:34.4 | So today we're reading from Jeremiah chapter 2 verses 1 through 19 in the world English Bible, and this is what it says. |
| 0:41.6 | Yahweh's word came to me saying, go and proclaim in the ears of Jerusalem saying, |
| 0:47.6 | Yahweh says, I remember for you the kindness of your youth, your love as a bride, how you went after me in the wilderness, |
| 0:56.0 | in a land that was not sown. Israel was holiness to Yahweh, the first fruits of his increase. |
| 1:04.0 | All who devour him will be held guilty, evil will come upon them, says Yahweh. |

| 1:18.2 | far from me, and have walked after worthless vanity, and have become worthless? |
| 1:24.5 | They didn't say, where is Yahweh who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, who led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and pits, through a land of drought and of the shadow of death, through a land that no one passed through, and where no man lived. I brought you into a plentiful land to eat its fruit and its goodness, but when you entered, you defiled my land and made my heritage an abomination. |
| 1:50.0 | The priests didn't say, where is Yahweh, and those who handled the law didn't know me. |
| 1:54.0 | The rulers also transgressed against me and the prophets prophesied by Bail, |
| 1:59.0 | and followed things that do not profit. |
| 2:02.5 | Therefore, I will contend with you, says Yahweh, and I will contend with your children's children. |
| 2:08.0 | For, pass over to the islands of Kittam and see, sent to Kedar, and consider diligently, |
