It's a great day for, well, not exactly a great day for democracy. It is, let us say, a decent

enough day for the undoing of the undoing of the democratic process.

This is the Virginia gerrymander vote.

It passed by a little over 1%,

meaning Virginia will go from a congressional delegation

of six Democrats, five Republicans, to 10 to 1.

Some are saying, I don't know, maybe 9 to 2.

But that's not good for most of the Republicans in this state.

And that was the point.

Because you know how it worked.

Texas started it.

California thwarted it.

And Virginia finished it.

Reap the whirlwind, my friends.

It's not hard when you take such things to a vote for your

side to win, when the vote is essentially a version of the question, do you want more of what you

want? In Virginia, voters want more Democrats. They ask them, well, how about when we vote in

November, do you want even more Democrats than you've

been getting? And most Virginians who are Democrats and want more Democrats, say, yeah, and not just

a six to five ratio, how's a 10 to one ratio, nine to two ratio suit you? I can't cheer this on.

A lot of Democrats can't really cheer this on. I can't decry it. It is true that the
