Summary
JB Benna, producer of the film Unbreakable, is also a heck of a runner. He proved this in October 2013 by breaking the 175 mile unsupported Tahoe Rim Trail FKT at 58h 43m 12s! JB attempted the run in honor of Michael Popov, the previous record holder, who passed away tragically in 2012. JB explains Why and his training, race, fuel, and hydration strategies, lessons learned and how he became friends with his individual body parts.

| 0:00.0 | And now a tailwind nutrition tip from none other than Anna Frost. |
| 0:11.1 | Anna, what do you have for us today? |
| 0:13.8 | Well, I think in any sort of training, consistency and patience is the key. |
| 0:20.1 | You have to maintain that to get anywhere you can't just go out and force it all at once. |
| 0:27.6 | But the main priority I think that you should all be aiming for is enjoyment and passion |
| 0:32.7 | that if your heart is not really in it, then you're not going to get through those hard |
| 0:38.7 | steps and the hard miles when things don't always go your way. |
| 0:43.6 | Your heart has to be saying to you, yes, come on, we can do this and carry on. |

| 0:53.4 | will drive you forward. |
| 0:54.9 | So do you ever get to the point where it's not fun for you? |
| 0:58.9 | And you have to do some re-evaluation? |
| 1:02.9 | I haven't so far. |
| 1:04.9 | I guess at the point when you get injured, then you think this is not fun and you have |
| 1:08.9 | to re-evaluate and that's when you stop and take a break and work through it. |
| 1:12.9 | But in terms of running, I've never got to the point where I don't love it anymore. |
| 1:18.9 | And at that point, when I get there, then if I ever get there, then I know we'll be |
| 1:24.9 | trying to make a change and to follow my heart in a different direction. |
| 1:28.9 | Well, I think that you've probably figured out the balance piece of it because there is |
| 1:32.9 | a way to do it where you're always pushing and always demanding and always looking |
| 1:36.9 | at the clock and always trying to beat your last, whatever it is and filling up a log book, |
| 1:42.9 | that it could become more of a task than a pleasure and no longer be a passion. |
