Jay Leno could have died in the fire that erupted in his burbank garage if it wasn't

for a friend of his that quite possibly saved his life.

So Jay was working on his 1907 white steam car.

And like we had mentioned before, this man loves cars, has a massive garage, has a ton

of them.

So he's fixing a clogged fuel line.

He says there was a fuel leak in gasoline sprayed on his face in hands and almost simultaneously

a spark triggered an explosion setting him on fire.

So dude works on his own cars.

That's exactly what my thought was.

So he had a friend there, Dave, who immediately jumped on him and smothered the flames.

Wow.
