and its military play a vital role if there is to be a defense in the island chains, especially because Prime Minister Kishit had led an effort to put

Japan and South Korea on the same path and support, always support Taiwan.

I see so many different names. Is there a pacifist wing? Is there a

LDP presidential election.

Since the LDP holds both houses in Japan's bicameral diet,

what they call their parliament, the president elected by the Liberal Democratic

Party will almost certainly become Japan's next Prime Minister.

And there is a range of thoughts within the seven or

eight people who declared that they're going to run.

They have to get 20, the support of 20 seated members of the LDP contingent of the parliament, of the diet and then those that pass that barrier will begin to
