crime. Five days a week. It's Wednesday, January 30th. I'm your host, Ryan Williams. In Missouri,

a woman showed up at her local police department and confessed to a shooting that killed two people and wounded another.

In Florida, a man called 911 and reported that he had shot his wife to death after an argument.

And in Illinois, Sheriff's deputies arrested a man in connection to the death of a beloved local bartender.

On Friday, January 24th at around 1.45 a.m., a woman pulled into the parking lot of the Aurora Police and Fire Department in Missouri

and called the non-emergency line to report that she had committed a murder.

She told the dispatcher that she was sitting outside in the parking lot and wanted to turn herself in.

Officers went outside and detained the woman until they could figure out what was going on.

The woman was later identified as 31-year-old Taylor Santiago.

When officers were able to speak with Taylor, she told them that they could find her estranged husband,

later identified as Troy Huffman, dead inside of her apartment.

Officers responded to the apartment to follow up on Taylor's statements and discovered a man dead near the front door.

Officers confirmed that the man was Troy Huffman, as Taylor had indicated.

With the alleged suspect in custody, homicide investigators brought her into a room to be questioned.

During their conversation, Taylor allegedly admitted that on the evening of Wednesday, January 22nd,

she had invited Troy to her home under the guise of seeing their 12-year-old child.

Shortly after his arrival, Taylor took their child to the bedroom and told them,

quote, I'm going to take care of the bad guys now.

Taylor then told her child to cover their ears, then left the bedroom.
