We bring you some new and updated information on the murder of Paul Peavy, whose story we reported on back in September.

In Florida, a man contacted law enforcement and reported a self-defense shooting at his home. And in Pennsylvania, police arrested a former state trooper for the murder of his ex-girlfriend's new lover.

All of this coming to shoot right now.

Back in late August and early September, we brought you the story of Paul Peavy, the Doberman Breeder who was found dead on his property in Idaho Falls, Colorado. And now we bring you some updated information that has recently been released.

To quickly recap, on Wednesday, August 21st, 2024,

57-year-old Paul Peavy was reported missing from his property in Idaho Falls.

Paul's friend Bruce Boynton, along with other friends,

realized that Paul hadn't been heard from for a couple of days, which was really unusual. Bruce made the decision to drive to Paul's home

to check on him and found things in disarray. Furthermore, Paul, along with his prized Doberman

puppies, were missing from his home. It wasn't like Paul to just up and disappear without a word.

Friends knew that Paul was in the process of moving to a different county and had checked

out that area, but he was seemingly nowhere to be found.

Once Bruce contacted the Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office to report Paul missing, a deputy

responded to the property and they agreed that things seemed to be a bit suspicious. Paul's dwelling was overturned as if someone had burglarized the property, which was in line with the missing puppies and personal effects.

With this, a missing person report was filed and an investigation was started.

Just one day after Bruce reported Paul missing, he discovered that someone was on Facebook marketplace selling Doberman puppies that

appeared to belong to the missing man. This lead was then passed on to investigators handling the case.

And while investigators were actively looking for Paul, a group of his close friends gathered

at his property in Idaho Falls to look around and see if they could find any sign of them.
