All right, to start today's episode, we're bringing you new and updated information in

the alleged murder of Heather Williams.

We first reported on the story last Thursday.

In New York, a woman was arrested after the body of a man was discovered, hidden in her apartment.

And in Missouri, law enforcement made an arrest and connection with the murder that was initially ruled a suicide.

On Sword and Scale Daily. So last Thursday, we brought you the story of 25-year-old Heather Williams of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and now we have some updated information on that case.

To quickly recap, it all started back on Sunday, January 5th, when Heather's relatives contacted the Fayetteville Police Department to report her missing.

The evening prior, a ring doorbell camera captured Heather leaving her family home and

getting into a car that pulled up in front of her house. It wasn't unusual for Heather to connect

with new people online and make friends, but it also wasn't like her to not return home after

going to hang out. And although Heather was considered to be an adult by

age, a car accident a decade prior left her with a cognitive impairment and a limited vocabulary.

People in the community came together to help search for Heather while she was still missing.

Her sister Mary spoke with the media during the searches and explained how her disappearance

first came about.
