and just right out of the gate Dave and me I said Dave and me sounds wrong to me but that's when are you supposed to use I and when are you supposed to use me?

Well the easiest way to tell is if you mentally leave out Dave which maybe what you want to do anyway if you're in a feud I didn't hear about that.

It's a faux feud. It's like pro wrestling.

And just think about what would you use I or me if you left out Dave from that sentence. So there's a feud between or with me you wouldn't say with I.
