Well, it's been a pretty rough week if you're a fan of the amazing Spider-Man comic book series.

There was a, uh, an edition called Brand New Day which showed up, hit stores Wednesday.

And it, well, it set off a real chain of events.

Reading on the, uh, comics 101 blog, the guy named Scott Tipton wrote,

it's hard to believe, but this is now the second time I've been told that all the Spider-Man comics I read growing up never happened.

Turns out that Spidey, uh, Peter Parker, rather, after tearfully deciding that he and Mary Jane his long time love were not meant for each other.

And now, fixed up with a new Hussie, goes by the name Mia Flores.

And again, this has been a bitter pill for the fans of Spider-Man to take for maybe not the reasons you would think.

It's not just that, uh, Spider-Man, if you were Spider-Man's kid, he would be bringing in a new anti Mia who spends over.

It's that they feel like this, the storyline has really started to peter out.

Actually, on the line, now Jen is at nine or 10 where we have Scott Tipton.

Number 10.

We've actually got Scott Tipton on the line. Now, he's the guy who writes the comics 101 blog.

He's the guy who wrote and even used italics in the sentence to just drive home how painful this is for him.

That this is now the second time recently that he's been told basically everything he thought he knew about Spider-Man was a sham.
